Bio
Started snowboarding in 1992, and became very dedicated to sport.  2001 had a date to go snowmobiling and I loved the sport and the man who introduced me too it. That very same night, phoned a friend and gave my snowboard gear away. Knowing I would never be satisfied with just going down the hill, when with a sled; I could go up, down, and sideways.

Since 2002, I have become involved with the local snowmobile club (Mid- Island Sno-Blazers), serving one term as Vice president, and another as secretary. I also help as a volunteer at many of the club events and host the annual club Christmas dinner.

Safety is a serious concern and accordingly I have taken an avalanche awareness course twice, and acted as an assistant to the instructor a 3rd time. I have been qualified as an industrial first aid attendant, (non-current).

Since becoming involved in snowmobiling I have taught, informally, friends/family to sled. For the first time, in 2007, the BC Snowmobile Federation offered a trainers course. I became a Certified Snowmobile Operator Trainer (industrial and recreational) in the spring of 2007.

Now I have an opportunity to bring my skills, training and knowledge to a wider audience.
